Football

Gaelic football in Borris College is thriving, with teams representing the school at First Year, Second Year and Junior Level. In 2023, the first year team represented the school in the Leinster Shield Final in the GAA National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown.

The teams are mentored by Mr. Mulready, Mr. Smithers, Mr. Tuite and Ms. Abbey. In 2024, all Championships will get underway before the Christmas Break. The players and mentors will be hoping that with some positive results in the group stages, they will have football to look forward to on the return to school in 2025.
